The NACD-NJ program season will close with a truly special evening event featuring Barbara Hackman Franklin, one of the most accomplished business minds and corporate governance experts in the country sharing her unrivaled insight on the topic of board and shareholder communication – also the subject of the Blue Ribbon Commission report due to be released this fall.  More communication among boards and shareholders seems to be evolving but not enough thought has been given thus far about how to do this and under what circumstances.  Therefore, the Blue Ribbon Commission is deliberating about this subject with the objective of providing a thoughtful “roadmap” for boards of directors.  These questions, among others, are the focus of the Commission’s discussion:
